By downloading, installing or using pvdownloader, or by using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software or the website.

pvdownloader is a local, client-side media archiving tool. It runs entirely on your own computer and communicates directly with the platforms you point it at.

We do not host, store, cache, index, transmit or distribute any media content. We operate no content servers and no proxy. Nothing you download passes through us.

You agree to use pvdownloader only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the intellectual property, copyright and other laws applicable in your jurisdiction.

In particular, you agree not to use pvdownloader to:

• Download, reproduce or redistribute content that you do not own or otherwise have the legal right to obtain.
• Circumvent, remove or otherwise defeat any digital rights management (DRM) or other technological protection measure. pvdownloader is not designed for, and must not be used for, that purpose.
• Infringe any copyright, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary right.
• Harass, defame, or violate the privacy or publicity rights of any person.
• Download, distribute or store child sexual abuse material or any other illegal content.
• Violate the terms of service of any third-party platform, or access content in a manner that bypasses a paywall or an access control you were not granted.
• Distribute malware, or use the software in a way that disrupts or imposes an unreasonable load on any third-party service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use pvdownloader, or at least 16 if you are in the European Economic Area. If you are a minor, you may use the software only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Some of the platforms pvdownloader supports serve adult content. You must be at least 18 years old — or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if that is higher — to use the software for that material. It is your responsibility to confirm that accessing such content is lawful where you are.

pvdownloader, along with its name, logo, icon, interface design and all associated branding, is the intellectual property of the copyright holder and is protected by copyright and trademark law. See the License page for the full terms governing the software, and for the attribution notices of the third-party components it uses.

pvdownloader is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Dailymotion or any other platform it supports. All trademarks and platform names belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

Your use of any third-party platform remains subject to that platform’s own terms of service and privacy policy.

THE SOFTWARE AND THIS WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL CONTINUE TO WORK WITH ANY PARTICULAR PLATFORM, SINCE THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS CHANGE THEIR SYSTEMS FREQUENTLY AND WITHOUT NOTICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE AUTHOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SOFTWARE OR THIS WEBSITE — INCLUDING ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM CONTENT YOU CHOSE TO DOWNLOAD.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the author from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the software or your breach of these terms, including any claim brought by a rights holder in relation to content you downloaded.

We do not host any content, and there is therefore nothing on our servers to remove. If you believe that this website itself infringes your rights — for example through its branding or written material — send a notice to the address below including: identification of the work, the location on this website, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act, and your physical or electronic signature.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the software or website after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. The courts of İstanbul, Türkiye, shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Together with the End User License Agreement and the Privacy Policy, these terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the author regarding the software.
